An American border guard met a young Canadian hooker and drug addict at a friend's place in the lower mainland. It must have been lust because he was just convicted on one of many charges against him that arose out of a seven month investigation. The whole story can be found at www.theprovince.com and putting in 'border guard convicted'. There are two other articles of interest on the same issue: Sunday, Jan. 27 '08. The first is about a 57-year-old murdered while on trial and in custody on a minor charge. This is probably due at least in part to double bunking now being used in our institutions. There is another on the lack of funding for programs by the Harper government. He wants to lock 'em up, throw away the key and forget about them. No wonder he's complaining about the early release program. He's creating monsters and doesn't care what happens to them unless they get out. Typical neo-con non-thinking. Technorati Profile
